How listings work
Who's listed
We list public saunas across the UK. Every sauna is listed free, and we check details against each sauna’s own website. Prices and opening hours change, so please check with the sauna before you go. Each listing shows when its details were last checked, or that the venue has confirmed them.
What every listing includes, free
- Location, opening hours, prices, session length, session types and facilities
- Directions
- Photos and the star rating from Google Maps
- A Book button that goes straight to the sauna’s own booking page, and a Private hire button where it’s offered
Verified listings are paid for
In future, saunas will be able to pay Sauna Finder for an enhanced listing, marked Verified by Sauna Finder · Paid listing. No sauna has a paid listing yet.
A paid listing can also include:
- the venue’s own photos (shown before Google’s) and its own description, labelled as supplied by the venue
- a video, links to its website and Instagram, and buttons for things like memberships, gift vouchers and events
- a “What’s on” section for events and offers
- reviews from Google Maps
- a form to sign up for the venue’s emails (only with your permission)
- a larger card in the list, showing its star rating and Book button, and a larger green pin on the map

How saunas are ordered
Paying never changes where a sauna appears. Saunas are shown in alphabetical order; when you search, the closest matches come first; and when you use “Near me”, they’re ordered by distance.
Own or run a sauna?
Use “Claim or correct this listing” at the bottom of your sauna’s page to tell us what’s changed. We’ll check and update it, and mark it as confirmed by the venue. Claiming and correcting a listing is always free. [DRAFT: anything else you’d like venues to know.]
Ratings and reviews
Star ratings and reviews come from Google Maps. We don’t write, choose, edit or hide them, and no sauna can pay to change them. Payment never affects a sauna’s rating.
Booking
Book buttons take you to the sauna’s own booking page. You book and pay the sauna directly. We add a tag to the link so the sauna can see the visit came from Sauna Finder. We don’t receive any commission on bookings.
